Connect Hashnode to Blog Automation
Articles appear as posts on your Hashnode blog - as Markdown with title, cover image, up to 5 tags, SEO title and meta description.
What you need for Hashnode
- Hashnode Pro for the blog: since May 2026 Hashnode only opens its API to Pro blogs.
- A Hashnode account that owns the blog or may write to it.
Step by step: connect Hashnode
- Open hashnode.com → your profile picture → Account Settings → Developer.
- Click Generate new token and copy the token.
- In Blog Automation: Websites & blogs → Connect website → Hashnode. Paste the token and click Check connection.
- Choose the blog (publication), status and language, then click Save blog.
Where do I find what in Hashnode?
| Field in Blog Automation | Where to find it in Hashnode |
|---|---|
| Personal access token | Hashnode → Account Settings → Developer → "Generate new token". One token can see several blogs; you pick the blog in the second step. |
Tips for Hashnode
- With the status "Save as draft" Blog Automation creates a draft that you review and publish in the Hashnode dashboard.
Good to know about Hashnode
- Without Hashnode Pro the connection is not possible.
- Hashnode allows at most 5 tags - any more are dropped.
- Drafts have to be published in the Hashnode dashboard.
