How the calculator works
If your team writes, the cost comes from posts per month, hours per post and the hourly rate. If you hire an agency or a writer, the price per post counts. Both are scaled up to twelve months.
For Blog Automation the calculator takes the cheapest plan with enough tokens for your posts. A post with a featured image costs 80 tokens. If a plan does not have enough tokens, it adds packs of 1,000 tokens for $10. The prices come straight from our price list and are plus VAT.
An honest comparison includes your review time too. Someone on your team should read and approve every draft. You set that time with the last slider, and it is counted at your hourly rate.
What the calculator leaves out
All amounts are in US dollars, the currency we bill our plans in. The calculator knows no discounts, no taxes and no costs for stock images. Agency texts usually need time for briefing and corrections as well, which is not counted here. Take the result as a ballpark figure, not as a quote.

That depends on the hourly rate and the effort. Research, writing, images and setting it up in WordPress often take three to five hours per post.

Are the prices in the calculator up to date?
Yes. The calculator reads the prices from the same list as our pricing page. If a price changes, the result here changes too.
